Why CRDA?
For years, rideshare drivers have faced challenges that can directly affect their income and ability to work.
Drivers may experience concerns related to:

✓ Rising fuel, insurance, maintenance and vehicle costs
✓ Deactivations and account suspensions
✓ Lack of transparency around platform decisions
✓ Difficulty accessing meaningful support

Many drivers experience these problems individually. When individual concerns remain isolated, they can be difficult to measure and difficult to bring to the attention of decision-makers.
CRDA’s purpose is to change that.
We collect driver feedback, documented experiences and supporting evidence, organize the information and present the larger picture through statistics, reports and advocacy.

Safety Disadvantages of Automatic Cars
- Pedal Confusion: Incorrect use of the accelerator and brake can lead to sudden vehicle movement.
- Less Gear Control: Automatic transmission provides less direct control over gear selection.
- Unintended Movement: The vehicle may move when the brake is released.
- Limited Engine Braking: Some automatic vehicles provide less direct engine-braking control.
- Brake Dependence: Greater reliance on the brake pedal is required in stop-and-go traffic.
- Transmission Failure: A transmission malfunction can affect vehicle movement and control.
- Unexpected Acceleration: A pedal or transmission-related fault can potentially cause unintended acceleration.
